Irritation: May be irritation from irritating foods. For example, a long session of eating spiced sunflower seeds. Avoid spicy foods for a few days. Saline rinses. If symptoms persist beyond a few days, see an oral surgeon.

Oral pain: See your Dentist to make sure there is not dental or oral cause of your symptoms.  Once you have a green light from your Dentist, if pain, sores persist, return to your prescribing physician to evaluate for allergic or untoward medicine reaction.

Need to examine: Some times small ulcers, aphthous ulcers, form in the oral mucosa and can cause burning sensation Most of these are self-limited. You may watch and wait. If the lesions do not go away in a couple of weeks, you should see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Palliative treatment: It seems like is the result of some type of irritation on the tip of the tongue. Keep your mouth clean and have some cream like rx triamcinolone  or over the counter oral gel to alleviate pain. Long lasting (+3 weeks) should be seen by a doctor. (dentist).
