EGD if symptom persi:  Most swallowed objects will pass through your body, show up in your stool within 3 days. If the object does not show up in your stool within 7 day  .Drink fluids which is not very hot or cold, High fiber food is recommended. Do not eat or drink while driving.Antacid may be used to provide relief from pain the throat .However Upper Endoscope may be nessacary .

Swallow a bone: There are two outcomes. The bone passes, or it gets stuck. Small bones have a tendency to pass. You can see a doctor, who can start with an x-ray to see if it passed

Foreign body: This is a common occurrence for people.  Fortunately, most of the time, it is a scratch in the throat that you are feeling and not the actual chicken bone. However, I would recommend that you go to a walk-in or ED, where an X-ray can be done to check for a retained bone. If this is the case, a brief surgical procedure would be necessary to remove it.

i am from uae. here a small piece of beef bone (5mm or less ) stuck in my throat .. 4 days ago but now i am feel burning in my mid of my throat. help?

Emergency Room: Foreign body aspiration or dislodge can cause complications, such as retropharyngeal abscess,  esophageal perforation,  airway compromise.  If you have symptoms of drooling, inability to take in liquid or solid food, emerging consultation, with barium swallow study, esophageogastroduodenoscopy with foreign body removal are indicated.

See below: If you indeed have a small chicken bone caught in your throat. It will probably not come back up. You may have scratched your throat on the way down giving you a sensation that the bone is still there. If the bone is small enough it should pass through the gastrointestinal tract and out into your stool. If the bone is larger it can sometimes lead to significant challenges and possibly even surgery. If the discomfort persists I would encourage you to see your family physician. If it's causing acute pain I would suggest you go immediately to the emergency room. Most foreign objects will pass if they're small enough. But be cautious and don't ignore any type of abdominal pain. Thanks for the question hopefully this was helpful to you. Not particularly : This will pass through your gut &amp; exit in your poop in 3-4 days. We have plenty of experience with little kids who decide to eat rocks/bugs/twigs/etc. so the issue is not uncommon. Button batteries from hearing aids or small rare earth magnets are the things you really want to avoid ingesting.

i sallowed a small  maybe sharp chiken bone last night. i don't understand whether it stuck or not. i feel it scratch in right side of throat . feeling some discomfort in right throat. will it be digested? should i go to doctor?

Local treatment: Drink soothing fluids, honey and tea may provide relief. Local irritation usually resolves in a day or two. Watch for signs of infection and difficulty breathing.

what do i do if i have a small piece of bone stuck in my throat? i was eating chicken and i swallowed a small piece of bone. i can feel it stuck in my throat but it doesn't hurt, it is just uncomfortable and i don't know what to do to get it out.

This : This isn't something you are likely to remove yourself nor should you try. Most sharp thin foreign bodies ( whether it be chicken bones, fish bones, etc.) typically lodge in recesses or pouches we call the vallecula (at base of tongue) or in the pyriform sinus (on the side of the voicebox) and, therefore, are usually inaccessible to the patient. You should be seen by an ENT physician for a good fiberoptic exam. If nothing is obviously seen but symptoms persist, we generally recommend direct laryngoscopy and exam under anaesthesia for a better look. Impacted foreign bodies unattended to will incite an inflammatory response and make symptoms worsen over time.
