Since it is not resolving on its' own a visit might be in order, but if it is not getting bigger, red or more tender it is also not likely to need urgent attention. I'm not sure what : Exactly you mean by a whole in the foot...are we speaking of a bonafide ulcer? If so you should see a foot doctor or dermatologist....if its just one of the blisters erupting it sounds more along the lines of a bullous Tinea pedis or athletes foot and a topical antifungal would be a good starting point.

Fungus: Sounds like a form of fungus/athletes foot. Try anti-fungal cream. If get if this does not help or if it gets worse. See podiatrist. Try to minimize excessive perspiration or moisture in area.

what are some causes for small bumps with a clear liquid, like blisters, to pop up on your hands and feet? i am a diabetic, but have kept it in check with my diet. other than that these blisters come up at times and sometimes they don't.
