Foreign body: Your description suggests that this lesion might be a foreign body such as a splinter. Since it is not resolving on its' own a visit might be in order, but if it is not getting bigger, red or more tender it is also not likely to need urgent attention. I f those conditions are occurring though it is time to have it seen about
