Usually a nerve: Tingling or shocking sensations are usually due to a nerve compression.  Determining location and body position can help you doctor determine the most likely nerve.  Sometimes medical treatment is necessary, but often the solution is stretching, strengthening, and weight loss.  For example. Tingling in the front is often caused by "meralgia paresthetica" which occurs when a person is sitting.

why would i have tingling and a electrical shock feeling in both feet which comes and goes?

Paresthesia: can be caused by multiple things. When it's in both legs though it makes me think it's either something from the back or a metabolic cause ranging from electrolyte disturbances to diabetes. Please see your doctor to discuss.

Rotator cuff: Your quite young for this, but previous injury could lead to impingement of one of the four ligaments in the shoulder, if persist may need mri.

Hitting Funny Bone: Your ulnar nerve wraps around the elbow and fits in a groove there.  If you hit directly on the nerve you have the sensation you describe.  This is called medically a neuropraxia.

i had a very strong electric shock feeling in my left arm in the middle of the night that made me jump up out of bed. my arm was tingling afterwards. ?

Not worrisome: in and of itself, this is not too worrisome - probably you had your head angled in a way that a nerve root in your cervical spine became briefly compressed. That said, if the electrical pains and numbness persists and worsens, or (and especially) if you develop weakness in your arm somewhere (eg biceps) then a short steroid taper might help and an MRI of the C-spine may be warranted.

2nd opinion: Your dr. May be correct but there are many things that could also cause this, from vascular to neurological, etc.
If you are uncomfortable with his diagnosis, i always recommend a quality second opinion!

Not B-6 toxicity: These sound like symptoms of magnesium deficiency which is often found in conjunction with cadmium toxicity coming from stresses of many kinds. Check vit d3 and homocysteine levels. You    could have a need for methyl folate, (folic acid) methyl cobalamine and the whole b complex. Re-evaluate life style to promote overall health with sleep, diet, exercise and stress management.

sometimes when i try to grip items with my thumb and forefinger i have little strength. if i adjust my hand position the feeling goes away. if i push through it there is a shock feeling in my wrist. not painful as such. no tingling/persistent pain.

See a Doctor...: One should see a Doctor as soon as possible for Physical Examination , at least have a Video Face to Face so Doctor can assess better and follow up as indicated.

Postmeal tingles: The sleepiness is a natural response to digestion. Your blood flow increases to your belly and decreases to some extent to the rest of your body causing the sleepiness. For the same reason you may experience lips tingle because blood is being directed to gut for digestion.  It may also be a sign that you are lacking calcium, magnesium and/or sodium.  If  it gets worse please see your doctor.
