Yes: tends to be a mild inflammatory reaction and get extreme if the inflammatory reaction gets stronger, like when fever starts to develop

the phlebotomist had to refind my vein. the open needle touched his rubber glove slightly snagging it. he used the needle anyways. what is my risk and could i get an infection or disease?

: There is the possibility however you should not be anxious because most likely the glove is clean and that means bacteria count is low. Your blood has white blood cells and other mechanisms to quickly detect anything foreign and likely to round it up contain and clean it right away unless the contamination is overwhelming. If redness or swelling watch for two days, if getting better danger over.

Pain penis: if it has been 2 years and still present, doubtful it will improve.  Have any medications such as Gabapentin or Lyrica (pregabalin) been tried to reduce this pain?  Might want to discuss with your healthcare provider.  Good luck.

In my opinion: Dental infection should not cause engorgement of facial veins. Are we talking unilateral or bilateral? If concerned see you doctor or ask the dentist if someting like this does exist....

Yes: Not the vein itself,  but tonsillitis would cause enlargement of the tonsil, inflammation of it’s base and a sore throat.

: The bare skin that touched the needle would need to have an open area with visible blood in order to exchange blood. And, the person would need to have HIV. Intact bare skin would not be able to exchange HIV. If you are unsure, you can get tested. But, I think the risk here is exceedingly low. Good luck to you!

Probably normal: if you only see it a certain times. People who talk can notice the veins stick out on the neck towards the end of their sentence. Also those that are angry or holding their breath.  If you other wise feel well this is not something to worry about
