Is it possible for you to get an infection from blowing a vein?

Possibly: Infections can occur if there is a break in the skin (cut, abrasion, rash, needle puncture) over the area where the 'blown vein' occurs. If the vein 'blew' due to an injury, it is possible to have a break in the skin over the area.
