feeling numbness/tingling right side of face& body for almost a day. what can be causing this? i felt a pinch on right arm when it started.

Need to see Dr.: You are young, so this is reassuring.  However, when your face is involved, it suggests that you are having something happening in your brain, not in your neck as could cause just arm tingling.

Ever had migraines?  Sometimes you can have other migraine symptoms without pain. The worrisome concern would be a stroke or other spot in the brain.  You need to have an exam and maybe a brain scan.

what causes only numbness (no tingling at all, just feeling then all of a sudden numbness), in both legs, right arm, right side of face and neck?

Numbness : In young patients, demyelinating disorders is always a consideration. Other autoimmune disorders, or vitamin deficiencies may need to be excluded. Check with your physician for proper history and physical examination.  This is the best way for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.  Consider consultation with a neurologist. Well : This could be a TIA or mini stroke or neurologic condition. This needs to be evaluated in person by neurologist her primary care physician. If the symptoms are sudden changing new onset sick immediate medical attention

Accepted Answer

Mononeuritis multipl:  you have inflammation, of multiple nerves going to your face and arms. This can be due to something as simple as a virus, or some other inflammatory process. You need to be seen as soon as possible, so that this can be treated and result before it leads to more serious symptoms such as weakness.

right arm numbness and left side of face numb. cat scan was clear, blood tests were good. doc is starting me on b12 injections. can it be ms or other?

You may need MRI: Cat scan may not give a good diagnosis eval.  Mri of the head with contrast will be a better option.

Positional: You may have carpal tunnel problems caused by thickened ligaments in the wrist which press on nerves going into the hand and forearm. Arm position while flying must be a factor. A hand surgeon can evaluate you and recommend treatment options like a brace, physical therapy, steroid injection, surgery.

See your doc: The low back is not related to the right arm.  The arm is most likely a disk herniation at C5-6 and or C6-7 on the right.  It can be treated with traction,medication and surgery as a last resort.  You can also try injections.

i get a sharp pain in my armpit region when i tilt my head up or down. it radiates numbness & tingling  down the inside of arm to 4th and 5th fingers.

CERVICAL DISC: problem is likely!

You may need an MRI

See your PCP (Primary Care Provider) for evaluation! Sometimes Physical Therapy will help!

SOUNDS LIKE: You may have a pinched nerve in your neck ....TRY SLEEPING WITHOUT A PILLOW...
If the symptoms continue, this may require a neurologic examination...

my right middle finger is partially numb. my right arm is also tingling. it gets worse when i move my head/neck/shoulder forward or look up. ???

Need work up: You need to be evaluated in person by a physician for adequate treatment to begin. That could include a neck xray,  palpation for trigger pains in the neck muscles,  shoulder and arm muscles as well as checking for carpal tunnel syndrome.   The doctor may try trigger point injections,  a referral to physical therapy and possibly an MRI of the neck.
