Not by itself: Tinea versicolor by itself is not an indication of an impaired immune system.  Markers for aids are infections like widespread candidiasis, coccidiomycosis, toxoplasmosis, tb, and others.  If you are concerned, please see your primary care provider and get tested for hiv.  That is the only certain way of knowing if you are infected.

: Not sure what you mean by "male yeast infection"? If you mean a rash on the penis and scrotum, that can be a yeast (fungal infection). Tinea versicolor is also a type of skin fungal infection, but not necessarily the same as what would occur on genitals. Please have a visit with your doctor to examine the rash and be properly diagnosed and treated.
