Don't Worry!: Assuming you went through one of those total body scanners that use back scatter x-rays, there should be virtually no radiation dose that was able to penetrate your skin. The older walk through scanners delivered no ionizing radiation. Just flying at 35, 000 ft. Exposed you to more radiation than any airport scanner would. Relax!

hi we live in india. my father aged 52 has acute acidity problem. he takes omniprezol three times a day?  is there any alternative ?

Persistent acidity: A 52 year old man whose acidity does not improve with Omeprazole needs further testing with an endoscope to check for ulcers and tumors. Acid reducing medication resolve acidity very quickly; if the symptoms persist despite the medication, endoscopy is helpful to find out ulcers and tumors. If endoscopy does not find a cause, scans may be required to check pancreas, gallbladder, & other organs.

we did ivf 3 times at india but we are not succecced. how effective is clomid (clomiphene)?

Probably not very: Generally if you were at a good ivf clinic and were not successful after 3 attempts, using Clomid (clomiphene) will probably not be very effective.  Although anything is possible, Clomid (clomiphene) is used for ovulation induction and because it works as an anti-estrogen, it might interfere with cervical mucus production and/or the lining of your uterus, actually decreasing pg rates. Good luck.

It happens: You can walk across a street and not get run over by a car, but the one time you try to cross and get hit, you may die.If we could identify witch scratch or bite is a real rabies exposure and which are not, we would give less vaccine. We can't. By the time people develop symptoms they will die a horrible death.

Perhaps wait...: Have you had low platelets chronically, or just this one time. It is encouraging that you are not anemic. How is your white blood cell count. You could be slightly low with regard to platelets due to a number of causes, such as viral suppression (transiently can shut down bone marrow) or itp (antibodies to platelets). I would check your platelets again in a month if you have no symptoms.

: Zero risk from such an exposure and your test results are conclusive. You do not have HIV and do not need any more tests. Something else is causing your symptoms; see a doctor if they continue or you remain concerned. Move on without worry about HIV.

Possibly not: While there is some regulation of foreign imported drugs by the fda, there are many loopholes and defects in the regulation at points of transit.  Therefore there are some products not as potent as desired, some are fraudulent or counterfeit, and some are just plain placebo.  The buyer must beware here and while the fda is acting on this market, it is still fraught with some hazard.
