Chest tightness: Chest tightness can be a symptom of heart disease but may be may other things such as aortic problems, respiratory disorders (asthma, COPD, bronchitis, lung collapse, infections), esophageal spasms, and muscle problems to name a few.  It really depends on the clinical situation and other symptoms you may be having.  Depending on the duration it would be worth seeing a doctor.

Biofeedback: ANXIETY Avoid drugs for sleep, weight loss and wait gain. Usually try behavior modification, punctuality in sleeping, read a book and warm milk  fi u like. Avoid caffeine, drinking, TV in room. Do regular exercise. 
Once on drugs for sleep u mau find it hard to regain ur self control.Use drugs only if a MD dx of symptomatic insomnia.

i get bad chest tightness/pains at the end of a night out (drunk) i have to lie down and take deep breaths for 1/2 an hour so it goes- what is this?

Lots of stuff: Could be a heart attack, could be gastritis from drinking too much. We don't know your age or anything else so it is impossible to say. You should speak with your doctor. In the meantime take some pepcid and stop drinking.

light ache started over right shoulder blade area about 1.5 days ago. it continues to get worse and breathing is becoming more painful. taking a deep breath is getting hard and hurts. mild dry cough, mild chest tightness. o2 good. when is it scary?

: Mild dry cough and chest tightness are often associated with asthma, bronchospasm and/or bronchitis. Musculoskeletal pain may be the underlying cause of your ache on the right side. Application of local heat to the area is often effective in reducing pain. 
COVID 19 testing recommended. Please have a COVID 19 booster vaccination. Avoid pollen, dust, mold, smoke and other possible allergic triggers

i have cold for a week now; sore throat and congestion gone. no coughing/mucous. i feel very weak and chest tightness, as i feel the need to focus on taking a deep breath. is the tightness a concern being that it came after the cold/towards end?

: This can happen if the airways remain “twitchy” after an upper respiratory infection is resolving. This can result in a cough that can last for an extended period of time or the symptoms you describe. An inhaler that you use temporarily can help with these symptoms so call your doctor and describe this and ask for an inhaler. You will likely only need it for a week or 2 but you will feel better!

Bronchitis/asthma: are likely.  You need to be seen and probably to get an inhaler for the wheezing and chest tightness.  Good luck!

Unlikely : It's possible, but much less likely than other causes.  In general, the chest pain you describe in your age group is more likely to be musculoskeletal (strain or inflammation) or respiratory (viral pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma). However, it could be cardiac or even GI related.  You should contact your doctor immediately or go to the closest urgent care/ER if you're having breathing problems.

SOB: You are a young female. What you are describing is something described as pleurtic chest pain. This being cardiac in origin would be unlikely. The shortness of breath can be secondary to 
1) Pulmonary Embolism
2) Small spontaneous pneumothorax
3) Musculoskeletal chest pain
4) If you are truly SOB would recommend to seek medical help. A chest Xray could help rule out #2 and a ddimer #1 then NSAID
