i cleaned bathroom with clorox cleaner + bleach yesterday and started feeling eyes burning, lightheaded and chest tightness and a little short a breath. this morning my throat hurts and head hurts. am i okay or do i need to be worried? i have anxiety?

: The exposure may have caused irritation of the lining of the upper airway and lungs. Rinse eyes and throat. Wearing a mask may reduce the likelihood of irritation. Avoid smoke and dust exposure. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, redness and ocular pain. Please follow up with your physician.

can i use duolin (nebuliser) and seroflo inhaler together for tight chest feeling due to covid? saturation levels are above 95%?

Good saturations: The Duolin may be used if the Seroflo does not improve your symptoms Avoid overuse of Duolin, since a long acting medication is contained in the Seroflo. If both medications are being used without relief, please contact your physician. The chest tightness may also be related to muscular strain. Apply a heating pad to the chest and rest. Monitor your breathing and O2 saturations.

You : You might need further testing of your heart. A test where they evaluate your heart while you are doing exercise may be helpful. A second  test where your heart is monitored for 24 hours. This entails you wearing a special monitor called a holter monitor.
Yoyushould also have basic blood tests and possibly a ct scan of your chest if not done previously.
Lastly, do these symptoms occur when you are under a lot os stress or anxiety? If so you may need a mental health evaluation for a possible anxiety disorder.

Doctor can evaluate: Chest tightness or shortness of breath is not normal, unless it is the mild temporary shortness of breath with sports activities (but even then, one must be sure she is not having more shortness of breath than her sports peers have). Possible reasons for shortness of breath include lung or heart disease, fluid around the heart or in the lungs, asthma, anxiety, costochondritis, etc...

Air hunger.: The symptoms suggest possible hyperventilation as a cause of a blood ph shift and the sensation of air hunger.  An easy way to test this hypothesis would be to hold a paper bag over ones nose and mouth to enable rebreathing of ones exhaled air which contains a high concentration of carbon dioxide.  If hyperventilation caused the symptoms, they should resolve quickly as the blood ph is corrected.

Anxiety: You carry your stress in your chest. These muscles get fatigued. You breathe differently when this happens and this is what causes the sensations you are feeling. You do not need a Cardiologist or a visit to the ER. You need to manage your stress better. Your family doctor or your therapist can help.

Stress?: Quite often the feeling of not being able to get a full breath is due to stress/anxiety. Literally "the weight of the world on your chest."  Taking a deep breath (or yawn) can affect the mind and calm down anxiety.  Taking a series of slow deep breaths can be helpful if feeling stressed. Unlikely : It's possible, but much less likely than other causes.  In general, the chest pain you describe in your age group is more likely to be musculoskeletal (strain or inflammation) or respiratory (viral pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma). However, it could be cardiac or even GI related.  You should contact your doctor immediately or go to the closest urgent care/ER if you're having breathing problems.

Very much so: I can tell you from both a professional and personal standpoint  that  acid reflux can be and is responsible for  chest tightness, a sensation that a satisfying breath cannot be taken and is a very under diagnosed cause of cough and even sinus disease.  It is very commonly mistaken for a heart attack or asthma and can significantly interfere with sleep and voice quality if acid hits vocal cords.
