STEROID CREAM/ANTIHI: You will need antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or zyrtec to stop the itching and topical Hydrocortisone for the mosquito bites
use of steroid cream for sunburn has been used but a study from coppehagen suggested it does not help, you can use pain meds for pain and if very painful you may use local Lidocaine cream i oatient is not allergic to it.

Insect bite allergy: For insect bites, you would expect to get a local reaction or swelling at the bite site. If you develop systemic symptoms like generalized hives away from the bite site, difficulty breathing or having abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, you should see an allergist to be evaluated because those allergic reactions can be dangerous.

Early or late?: This depends on the age of the scars and you skin type. Early antiinflammatory therapy with Hydrocortisone cream and/or salicylic acid may help, mature scars may benefit from leaching agents, peels, laser therapy, ipl, dermabrasion, and more depending on the qualities of the scar.

i traveled to belize 1 mo ago and got several mosquito bites. some still itch on and off! healthy 25yo, no other symptoms. anything to worry about?

Depends: You can have persistent insect bite reactions that last for a long time.  They can form granulomas that can grow large and become infected and need to be treated.  Might help to use a topical steroid and antibiotic to get it to resolve. Best to see a dermatologist for help if they worsen.

my husband and i travelled to cuba in july. got alot of mosquito bites. no symptoms.  want to start trying for a baby in april 2018. should we get tested for zika?

Won't hurt: It is a good idea just to be sure although there is really no treatment for it even if you have been infected. However it is only prudent to find out before you get pregnant.

See a dermatologist: Where do you live? Any pets or other animals? Maybe they are something other than insect bites. A skin specialist can help you. Do not take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) except as a sleeping pill. Dangerous to drive if using it.
