i  suffered what i thought was a deep tibia bone bruise 2 months ago and now i have multiple hard lumps i can move up and down the whole tibia bone.

Varies : When you do sustain a "bone bruise" it can affect the periosteum, which is the lining of the bone.  This can result in extra bone formation and the lumps you are describing.  I would not hesitate to be seen and possibly have some further studies.

i fell the other day and hurt my knee. i do think  it's only a bone bruise bc i can bend it. there is swelling. how long for the swelling &treatments ?

Several days: Bone bruises can take a few weeks to resolve. Rest and ice will help alleviate pain and swelling. You should consult an orthopedic specialist and have X rays just to make sure it is not fractured.

Repeat x-ray: I would recommend reevaluation with another x-ray -- this late type of pain after a remote injury can indicate damage to articular cartilage in the wrist in a number of different areas like the articulation between the the thumb metacarpal bone and another wrist bone called the trapezium -- repeat evaluation by an orthopedist specializing in hand is indicated

if a enchondroma is in the middle of bone oedema and the enchondroma is surrounded by oedema in the knee proximal tibia does this mean the enchondroma is aggressive and needs treatment to reduce oedema in and around it?

Depends: A bone bruise, as opposed to a bone fracture, does not need to be put in a cast in the sense of protection from displacement.  But a cast can be useful to control swelling, potentially help with pain, and may make the hand more functional while you are recovering.  I certainly would discuss with your doctor the different options for immobilization that are available.

No Bones About It: Them metatarsals is way down there where all that body weight ends up.That can hurt and walking on them unprotected could delay healing.Fractures definitely need a cast,but as far as you,the doctor must have seen that your injury was pretty serious, fracture or no fracture.And maybe was taking care in case there was a tiny one not picked up yet on x-ray. It may vary : It depends how you got the bone bruise.  If you had a direct blow or trauma to the foot then it could be several weeks.  If you had no trauma and it is from over use then it could be a stress injury and may take longer and a minimum of 4-6 weeks.

Depends: That is a fairly extensive cast for a "bone bruise" as you put it.  A bruise does not necessarily have to be immobilized at all; but sometimes we will to control swelling, improve function, or we are concerned there may be more to the injury.  Don't hesitate to discuss with your orthopedic surgeon.

Resting: Rest, ice pack and anti-inflammatory. May be you need an X Ray to rule out any fracture.
