Possible migraine: The two symptoms are probably unrelated, but eye symptoms, like flashing lights, followed by a headache are often ocular migraine.  Floaters in a 16 year old are unusual unless you are very near sighted.  In any event, you should see an Ophthalmologist to rule out retinal tears or retinal detachment.

can tension headaches cause aches behind the eyes and eye floaters? if not, what can be the cause of dull tension-type headaches with neck stiffness, eye floaters, and facial aches? symptoms have been occurring for about 7-10 days. worse at night?

: Floaters are not caused by tension headaches.  I would keep a headache diary recording every thing you eat and do and share with your Dr to see if the two of you can find the cause.

: You need to see a doctor and have your blood pressure checked ASAP.

went for my annual visit to the doctor back in january. everything was fine. since then i've had symptoms like dull headaches, eye floaters, stiff neck, constipation, rectal discomfort, ab aches, etc. would something have come up if it were serious?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

tingling hands, tingling feet badly, sore lower back, dry eyes, seeing floaters. i have low thyroid on levo 100mcg but still in pain why?

Totally unrelated: Hi. Those symptoms have nothing to do with your (treated and presumably normalized) hypothyroidism. The thyroid, more than any other endocrine system, gets blamed for everything. Even if your thyroid function is nowhere near normalized (which, on that dose, is unlikely), those symptoms having nothing to do with your thyroid. Mention them (symptoms) to your doc for other ideas. Good luck!

i ws wearing hard neck collar for neck strain as per doc adv.i bent down to pick up my phone on ground,i felt mild pain in eyes n saw floaters fr 3sec

Has it settled?: Flasher/floaters and vertigo (sensation of movement) can be a feature of neck sprain/whiplash.  However depending on the nature of the injury may need to think about head or eye trauma although this may have been checked originally.  Without having this information, the safest thing to do if any doubt would  be to consult a doctor licensed in your area you might need repeat examination.  Good luck

do exercises cause retinal detachment for high myopic and floaters? i do many neck streching exercises like crunches, pushups, shaking head. is there any harm for eyes as i have heard that anyone who have floaters should not do heavy exercise?

: The exercise that are to be avoided are running, jumping, hopping and anything related to contact sports. Crunches, pushups, pullups and the like are not likely to cause retinal detachment. Talk to your regular Dr for more detailed instructions and restrictions.

progressive migraine aura with pain (base of neck/skull), decreased vision in left eye with black eye floater. i have recently in the last week have random loss of feeling bilateral legs(dx low lying cerebellar tonsils 4mm below skull in 2017?

: Your symptom complex is not a classical migraine picture.  Your left eye needs examination if visual loss persists longer than 20-30 minutes, as you might have a retinal detachment.  The leg symptoms likewise need analytic study.  Contact your physician or try urgent care center.

Yes: If there has been a change in your floaters, then an eye exam by an ophthalmologist is advised.

Time: It just takes time! if they are in the center of vision and you can't ignore them, consider a floater surgery to remove them.
