Ultrasound: May be time for a pelvic ultrasound to see if you have an endometrioma or benign ovarian cyst. An ectopic pregnancy would be exceedingly unlikely. A doctor can do a pelvic exam and rule out infectiion such as pelvic inflammatory disease as well.

Maybe: Your appendix is in that area as well.  If you experience increasing pain or any GI symptoms such a nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, you should be seen.

Pelvic pain: For you age group, the 3 most common reasons would be 
1:  Ovarian cyst
2:   Kidney stone imbedded in the ureter
3:   Pelvic inflammatory disease (infection:chlamydia etc)

my right ovary hurts really bad. sharp throbbing pain, i have endometriosis and am due for my period but i've never experienced pain like this. ?

Ovary or appendix?: Your right ovary very near your appendix. If the pain is severe you need to go to the Emergency Department and make sure that you do not have appendicitis. Please be seen as soon as possible, appendicitis can be life threatening.

i have a irregular shaped 15mm cyst lesion on my right ovary with fluid around it and i'm have some severe pulse throbbing pain in my right lower abdomen should i be concerned?

Accepted Answer

: That size is not big enough to put you at risk of ovarian torsion (an emergency) but cyst rupture (not emergency) can cause same symptom. You can apply some warm pad over the area for pain. Go to emergency if pain gets worse along with nausea/vomit or fever. That area is also the site of appendix so keep an eye for appendicitis, too.

Pelvic pain: Your symptoms could be due to either ovulation pain or ovarian cysts. Midcycle or ovulation pain is completely benign and should subside within a few days. Ovarian cysts are benign and mostly functional cysts. They are prevalent in women of reproductive age. If your symptoms worsen or do not subside within a few days, I would advise you to see your primary care doctor for further evaluation.

what does a pulsing or throbbing pain mean in my left ovary area? what would cause this out of the blue?

Ovary: Ovarian cyst would be likely, however It would be wise to check a home pregnancy test to make sure not ectopic. Infection or other problems with gu, GI or even blood vessel problem.

Accepted Answer

Yes: or other Ovarian process such as cyst, endometriosis or other possibilities. Needs evaluation, expect to get examined and have an ultrasound of your pelvis at a minimum.
