Back: Pain that radiates the length of the legs is often coming from a back issue. See a physician for a work up.

Inflammation: When veins throb, it is usually when someone is standing and the veins are inflamed.  Typically, lying down at night makes them feel better.  If your vein isn't doing that, you should be a doctor and get it checked out.

DEPENDING ON : Other symptoms/facvtors or lack there of, which you did not include, my main concern is ruling out a block clot(dvt).
See your doctor asap. Could be nothing, but it could kill you too.

Anxiety talking: There is what we used to call "neurotic anxiety" - fears about things one need not worry about and reality anxiety - fears about things that can be wrong or really hurt us.  Worrying about new or repeating pain is real worry - it is a message speaking loud and clear: "this needs to be properly medically assessed".  Listen to the message, it is important, and unsafe to ignore.

More info: It would be helpful to know what side of the ankle the pain is.

If it is on the inside, then you may have injury to the nerve, or compression of the nerve to the ankle and foot.

Primary care doc: The throbbing pain in both leads and headaches is not likely to be due to your pregnancy at 5 weeks post partum. Consider seeing your primary care doctor so that a full evaluation can be done

Leg pain : It's not possible to come to a firm conclusion without a physical examination. We need more information. After reading this I am thinking are these symptoms a subtle fracture or a contusion.  See a doctor

Muscle Spasm: The possibility of muscle spasm is the obvious issue.  Some women may be developing venous insufficiency.  Others, may need a doppler study (ultrasound) of the leg to rule out a blood clot.  If basic pain medications do not help, do seek an evaluation with your physician or go to the ER.

Leg pain: It could be multiple things and some of them are urgent. For one sided leg pain, one must consider: neurological issues (nerve entrapment, nerve irritation, nerve compression), vascular issues , blood clot or dvt, metabolic issues, and musculoskeletal issues like a strain, fracture...

It is best to see your doctor to rule out any serious problems.
