Back: Pain that radiates the length of the legs is often coming from a back issue. See a physician for a work up.

Anxiety talking: There is what we used to call "neurotic anxiety" - fears about things one need not worry about and reality anxiety - fears about things that can be wrong or really hurt us.  Worrying about new or repeating pain is real worry - it is a message speaking loud and clear: "this needs to be properly medically assessed".  Listen to the message, it is important, and unsafe to ignore.

Pinched nerve : You are kind of young for this but  it could be a ruptured disc with a pinched nerve

i took a cortisone  shot 4 days ago.  i have been having lower back and leg pain and also throbbing joints.  what can i do to stop?

Depends: Was the steroid shot for a particular diagnosis or general pain complaints?  When you do not feel better, perhaps the diagnosis needs to be clarified, and the anti-inflammatory treatment options need to be reconsidered.  Your menstrual cycle and your hormone status may need to be taken into consideration.  Try tylenol/acetaminophen, heat and stretch for your joints  until you see your physician.

i have throbbing leg pain b/w knee and ankle after jogging or playing sports. pain is getting worse. what could be the cause of this? has been 3 month

I get this also: I use an ultrasound machine when this happens and the pain goes away almost immediately. Physical therapist should be able help. You  may want to increase your calcium intake also. Physiatrist  specializes in these problems, this is your best bet to get well soon

No Ca of leg: Throbbing pain in leg not associated with cancer.  latter arises  in muscle as fibrous malignancy with well defined mass, smooth muscle tumor of femoral vein origin or nodal disease from metastasis to groin.  In neither of the cases is there any pain.  the latter more likely to be related to DVT but some swelling should be seen and iron pigmentation of lower leg skin.seen  Need vascular work up.

i have leg pain i belive from sciatica.just got home from road trip and toes to hip wrapping around is throbbing.what is different from that or clot?

Generally you can't: Unless you have a fever or swollen limb which may suggest a clot more than sciatica otherwise not very specific.  I would suggest ruling out the clot first and then workup the sciatica issue afterwards.

Growing pains: Likely due to "growing pains" although growth isn't really painful.  These leg pains are a throbbing dull pain often in the front of thighs , calves or behind the knees.  These pains tend to happen at night and can wake a child from sleep.  Pains can be relieved by massage and or a warm heating pad.

I hate to say it but: That could be a multitude of things.  A lot depends on you age, activities, past medical history, etc.  It could be anything from "growing pains" to a blood clot to neuropathy to a stress fracture.  This is a question for your primary care doctor.  My advice is that you see your local doctor in the flesh.  Your history is essential to a correct diagnosis, as a good exam.  Good luck.
