Why does the right neck/side of face go numb and tingly for 10 sec when slightly strained by moving it to look to my left? it constantly feels tight.

If you stretch the neck by looking towards the left and the tingling is on the right side, that is produced by muscle tension; the opposite may be produced by neck spondylosis and reduced size of the neural foramina. It is probably muscle tension and a very benign problem that could goes away with massage, ice and tylenol (acetaminophen).

When i yawned i had a muscle spasm in my neck then part of my face goes numb and my face feels tight not tingly. this has happened twice. what is it?

It could be muscle cramps. We can get cramps in that area, just as we can in our thighs, calves, shoulders, etc. You can try stretching your neck, jaw and chin muscles when this happens, and it may alleviate the cramping.

Throat tightness for days, really uncomfortable. what is the cause of this? i rarely have this type of feeling. also numbness in the body that i will be checked with the neurologist and im not sure if this is connected to neck tightness/throat?

I assume it's not a sore throat or tenderness of thyroid gland,muscles or enlarged lymph nodes. My sense is there's tension or tightness of throat.musculature.  Chronic tension& stress can be the cause.  If this pertains to you,, stress management therapy would be helpful. Discuss with your MD or the neurologist.

If my neck muscles hurt because of wrong bra (tight) could it effect my nerves (very slight numbness in hands)?

It would be difficult for an undergarment to cause numbness in the hands.  Hand symptoms can arise from changes in the neck, but normally much closer to the center, than where the straps would be.

Hand numbness could be caused by something else, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, for example.

Get clothes that fit and fit comfortably.  That is always good advice.

40's male with "tight neck and shoulder" with facial numbness describes a symptom constellation compatible with thoracic outlet syndrome.  Within the disorder of tos, muscle spasms of lateral neck muscles can impinge occipital nerve branches that serve the lateral-posterior facial regions.  An osteopath might be best doctor to evaluate.  My experience has been that many neurologists doubt tos.

This could be a lower level cervical disc herniation at c6-7 or c7-t1 or it could be a heart issue or even an upper love lung problem .  Your age would be more co sister with a musculoskeletal diagnosis but since there is a cardiac possibility, you should get an evaluation by your physician.

Numb sensations are not normal. Tmj can have various symptoms, however...You should see the emergency room as soon as possible to rule out heart or stroke concerns. I am sure they will run blood tests and possibly a mri. Please do not delay.

Thoracic outlet syndrome from tight scalene the negative test should be readsuring to you that nothing structural is happening megative emgs are always good news no neuropathy no permament nerve damage.
