Generally, yes: Radiation can cause temporary increases in uptake on a pet scan (especially if the radiation is to the lung).  Thus, it can sometimes be difficult to tell whether the primary tumor has changed much.  That said, the radiation does not affect the ability to determine whether cancer has actually metastasized, or spread to different parts of the body like lymph nodes or liver.

I would invest $20 US for a weeks subscription and read all the pros and cons and them discuss with your team and decide what to do.  What you need is a local Dr to discuss with you unless you are traveling to get treatment.  If so discuss risks and benefits there and make your decision.  It is all in your hands to decide.

: Neutropenia comes in various forms, some more worrisome than others depending on the degree and other health factors of the person. It is best to discuss any limitations with the treatment team who knows the case. This is not a "one answer fits all" condition.

This test is not widely used in cardiac evaluations, thus addressing an abnormality on the scan would depend on why your doctor recommended the scan for you.

There are nasal steroids OTC that are helpful to many. You find a product that works for you that fits your lifestyle. There is no one best product.

Maybe: A pet rat not exposed to outside animals is not a rabies threat. The wound produced could become infected with mouth germs common to the pet. A good wash out with soap &amp; water can reduce the risk &amp; her tetanus should be up to date. Any sign of increasing redness or drainage from the site should lead to a visit. If the bite was on the web of the thumb/forefinger I would get it examined.

Yes, tx is available: First you can catch E. Cunic. from your rabbits, especially by coming into contact with their urine.  About 20% of rabbits in the US have this parasite and it is transmittable to humans.  The treatment involved antifungal topicals and, if the disease if systemic, Albendazole is necessary.  Fortunately, the parasite is detectable by blood assay.
