Rib pain: It is possible the pain may be related to the exercise class, particularly if the muscle is tender to the touch.  If that is the case an ice pack and rest will help you. If the pain is persistent, gets worse or causes shortness of breath you should seek medical attention.

Lazy: if he is that inactive he must also be obese, diet and exercise is very important. please turn the TV off and take him to a park such that he can play with other kids

Interstim: Interstim treats urinary retention (inability to completely empty the bladder) and the symptoms of overactive bladder, including urinary urge incontinence (leakage) and significant symptoms of urgency-frequency.   Am not aware of presence of lead that will lead to human toxicity in this product.

Yoga, tai-chi: All forms of physical therapies incorporate movements into their work-rehab regimens, but i assume you are referring to more artistic/relaxation/balance training therapies suc as yo-ga, tai-chi, dance therapy etc..There are many forms/schools of thoughts. Do your own research and find out what works for you. Eat well, sleep well, exercise regularly, live long. Consult doc. Good luck.

Interesting.: Basically it's labeling as "therapy" things we used to do for fun. Caution: removing "fun" from the description may actually inhibit its use. I suggest we return its original name: "horsing around.".

Not usually: Unfortunately these services are often not covered by most traditional insurance plans.  There is always an appeal process but no guarantees.

will  i need physical therapy after a diskectomy? how do i regain my range of movement after a diskectomy? will i need to go to physical therapy?

Physical therapy : In general, physical therapy helps return strength and mobility after a discectomy.  This includes both cervical and lumbar discectomies.  Each case is different, and of course the final decision is between you and your surgeon. However, I have found in most instances that pt is useful after discectomies, especially lumbar discectomies.

how much therapy is needed for perenoal nerve damage from drop foot? its already been 1yr. thebproblem is lateral movement.

Foot drop : If from trauma, MRI of knee and EMG nerve conduction studies are now indicated.  You may be a candidate for a nerve transfer.  You need to see a specialist skilled in peripheral nerve surgery.

See details: Check with an orthopedist before starting physical therapy. It should not be painful.
