Sauna: Sauna use may reduce the incidence of the common cold, and temporarily relieve the symptoms.It increases performance in endurance sport, increases plasma volume and red cell volume in athletes, decreased systolic blood pressure, significantly improved exercise tolerance, increased peak respiratory oxygen uptake, and enhanced anaerobic threshold in chronic conditions.

Not really: I would wear a water shoe or sandal just so perspiration does not get into the shoe.
This could create a fungal infection.

Benefits and risks: Saunas are relaxing and may help patients with high blood pressure and rheumatic disease, while patients with severe heart disease and/or chronic skin disease may not be good candidates for using saunas. Hydration is critical and should not be confounded with alcohol use that is not recommended around use of sauna.

YES: But I always suggest lubricating lenses beforehand and limiting the time you spend in the sauna: hydrate.

Diet &amp; exercise: Diet and exercise are the safest and most effective ways to lose weight (we have all heard it before, because it's true!).  Supplements should not be considered as a major part of your weight loss plan.  Devices advertised on the internet and television are costly usually not helpful.  Working with a personal trainer should help you achieve results faster and safer.

Possibly : Can develop a sensitivity to the eucalyptus oil (irritant dermatitis).  I have to work within a conventional medical framework and in the conventional world the studies on infrared saunas have so far been disappointing re its effects.

Can be.: Sauna helps you sweat which is one of the ways your body gets rid of toxins.  Sweating is an important part of being healthy and sauna can help with that.  Sauna is not appropriate for everyone however and you should discuss it with your physician.  Take care!

Ok: It's okay as long as you go just for a short period of ime 10-15 minutes at the most, and you get out of it if you start having any physical symptoms like dizziness, fatigue etc. You should also drink enough water, to avoid dehydration.

Accepted Answer

Yes: You should be able to still use the sauna.  However, you would want to not use the sauna if you are pregnant.  Happy sweating!
