: Those symptoms, where they involve all extremities, are characteristic of peripheral neuropathy. An EMG test could be diagnostic. Calcium,magnesium, Vit B12 deficiencies are other possible causes of these symptoms. See your physician or a neurologist for evaluation&amp;appropriate testing. Alcohol abstinence is mandatory. See a specialist in substance abuse or consider a detox unit for withdrawal help

can peripheral neuropathy of the feet cause raynauds  in the fingers? would this be considered secondary raynauds?

Raynauds: Secondary Raynauds or Raynauds phenomenon sometimes occurs as a complication of autoimmune disease. I don't believe that peripheral neuropathy can induce vasospasm that causes Raynauds phenomenon.

i went to see my dr my middle finger it feels numbness and pain dr said is diabetic neuropathy is this curable  any physical that you recommend me ?

Diabetic neuropathy: Diabetic neuropathy is not curable but there are medications that can control the discomfort. However, it would be very unusual to have diabetic neuropathy affecting only your middle finger. Are your symptoms in both middle fingers or just one? Perhaps a second opinion is needed especially if only one middle finger is affected since a nerve injury may be more likely.

can you have neuropathy in your feet if you don't have diabetes?  my feet burn and hurt and sometimes get bright red.

Neuropathy: yes you can.  many causes of neuropathy not related to diabetes . Need to see your doctor to run some tests.

36 yo female with a history of crohn's disease and degenerative disc disease. have a numb spot on my pointer finger, my hands are cold and i get tingling. may have mild crohn's flare. neuropathy?

It's possible,but: There are many other possible causes for the abnormal feelings in your hands.Discus all of these symptoms with your doctor.

Neuorpathy: Certainlt your symptoms are neuropathic and you are taking stimulant medicayoions which may be stimulating your nervous system. Get a checkup and blood suagr check.

Not all: Ulnar neuropathy would not explain all of the symptoms since it would only involve the upper extremity. To account for symptoms in the arm and leg would suggest either a process that that diffusely affects nerves in the arm and leg or a process in the spinal cord. A thorough neurological examination should help to differentiate.

recently diagnosed with insulin resistance. as i started controlling sugar levels, exercising and metformin i am having more side effects than before. cramp like feeling on my toes and fingers... neuropathy already??!!

Metformin: Metformin does have side effects including  low B12 . Low B12  can cause tingling in toes and fingers  Would check you B12 level may need to supplement and would discuss the effects with you doctor, perhaps may need another medication.

been overdosing on vitamins for 2 months (via juicing + disc splmnts. have tingling in fingers, light headed, mood change, fine motor weakness in both ring fingers. possible neuropathy? permanent?

How much supps. ?: You keep saying you are "overdosing" on vitamins but don't say what supplements & quantity you are taking. It is impossible to overdose on vitamins from juice but certainly possible from supplements. Neuropathy can be caused by taking 500 mg of b6/day for months though rarely by as little as 200 mg/day (which is still a lot). Hopefully you haven't taken that much. It is usually reversible.
