Edict ones possible: May be simply delayed puberty. But the time to Check is now.  See an endocrinologist.  Could be a Pituitary problem. Most likely correctable just don't wait .

So you're not 37 ?: I'll trust that you're old enough to ask a question on HT. Mild, intermittent pain can be from trauma, a dilated blood vessel in the scrotal sac or a hernia. See your doctor to determine the cause &amp; any needed treatment. More serious causes probably would have sent you to the ER by now. Don't risk losing a family jewel because of embarrassment. Take care of your health.

No: That is the joy of having an extra, in case something happens to one. The turn on switch for puberty comes from the brain. The testis plays a role, but it only takes one to do it.

: Testicles dont get hard or soft. It is the scrotum which gets tight and relax with temperature. Bell clapper deformity is difficult to diagnose preoperatively and the ultrasound is not always accurate. Not all bell clapper testes twist So please wear a good support underwear and dont worry about something which probably not happen

: What you describe is not torsion. Wear a good support underwear. If the problem recurs you will have to be examined by a Urologist

Could be but: Pain in the testicle or surrounding area can be due to a number of causes, some of which can be important to treat.  For example, intermittent torsion (twiisting of the  testicle comprimising the nerve and vascular supply, inflammation or infection in the epididymis, and other conditions can cause pain.  Best to get it checked.

today the cords of one testicle bulked up below the testicle , they were kind of squishy , after i examined them and touched them , they went away on their own , i did not experience any pain ,im going through puberty is it torsion? very scare?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described does not suggest torsion. It would be prudent to see a doctor if you get more than mild pain. Wish you good health!

Needs an exam: Failure to grow taller for 5yrs or failure to hit puberty by 16 is reason to be evaluated for hormonal deficiencies. The trauma to the testis may or may not be the source or only source of the problem.  Your doc should send you to a pediatric endocrinologist for an evaluation, but there may be some initial tests that could be done before you go.

Obesity: You are likely to have so much chub over the genital area you would not be able to notice a change if it happened. The change is subtile and starts when peanut sized testicals grow to giant olive size. Your penile shaft can vary in resting length, usually 4-6 inches or so as an adult. Your regular doc can assess the issue if you want.Trim down &amp; the other structures would appear bigger.
