Terminology: Streptococcal infection is not considered an std, not that you could not get it through sexual contact. However, positive streptococcal infection test is not due to std.

Fever @ 9 mos: The presence of Strep does not necessarily indicate that it is the cause of infection. Many are asymptomatically colonized. Antibiotics do not so much treat Strep, as they prevent acute rheumatic fever due to Strep, and despite antibiotic one may remain ill. The question here is whether the diagnosis is correct, and if not, what else may be going on. See a pediatric infectious diseases expert.

The perfect storm: She has a virus infection which can be painful, and at the same time she's teething which can be painful.  Did Pediatrician put her onto antibiotic for strep infection, that should help.  Talk to her Dentist about OTC products that can be dabbed onto sore gums.  OTC nSaids should help, again, talk to Dentist.  Keep mouth immaculately clean.  New toothbrush as soon as she starts to feel better.

Depends: You are okay as far as your sore throat is concerned, but there is question about your thought process. Tattooing is a form of self-mutilation.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Strep!: That's what a positive test for strep means. Call the doctor you saw for the work-up to get appropriate instructions for recovery - be sure you understand fully and then follow them. Avoid spreading it to others or even re-infecting yourself - replace toothbrush after well, etc. Feedback of lab results is a BIG part of medical services - be sure you always get it and 'get' it! Best!

Normal... no: See your PCP for diagnosis and treatment. Do not let it go and turn into a more serious infection.

Probably Okay: If you are afebrile and asymptomatic it should be okay.  Otherwise you should wait until your infection has resolved.

No: Do not take any medication not prescribed by your doctor. Prednisone is a powerful medication and should not be taken unless prescribed for your illness.

It could be, if you : also have a fever. Get a Quick-strep done; if it's negative, wait for throat culture results before startling antibiotics. If you have a viral flu-like illness, antibiotics will not help. Your sons need to take their full 10-day courses of antibiotics to prevent Rheumatic Fever, a complication of pharyngitis caused by certain strains of Group A Streptococcus.
