No: You ate cooked sushi so there is no issue. If you were pregnant and you lived in japan you would likely be eating like this many times a week. My question though is if you were not sure and were concerned it might be dangerous then why did you eat it?

Recommendation: Please, do not eat sushi and tempura fish often than once a week!!!!!! While you pregnant.

Food poisoning?: May be possible.  Usually will settle over several days.  Please see a doctor of doesn't and urgently if abdominal pain persistent vomiting or not taking fluids

Yes and no.: Officially the answer is avoid, but realistically fish that is "sushi grade" - frozen properly -  is fine. See fda.Gov.  Be careful with shark, king mackerel or swordfish as they are higher in mercury content.

No raw fish: You should not eat raw fish or meat when pregnant because of the risk of acquiring a parasite or bacteria.  In addition, you need to limit the amount of fish you consume during pregnancy to limit the amount of mercury you ingest.  It is recommended that you consume less than 12 ounces a week of cooked fish. Completely avoid swordfish, shark, king mackerel, and tile fish.

It can be: Almost anything in moderation and balanced with exercise and water can be used to loose weight.  There are no magic buttons.  Consider that 3500 calories added to your dirt will add one pound of weight. In other words, if you cut out drinking two cans of soda a day at 250 calories each, that would be 500 cal/day or 3500cal/wk.  You would loose a pound each week, without doing anything else.

N Fowleri: is not found in salt water. It has to travel up the nose to cause  Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis. Know of no case reports  of PAM caused  byNaegleria fowleri. But sushi can contain other dangerous parasites.

: You need to avoid or limit eating tuna. Consumption of high mercury is extremely dangerous in general. Tuna specially raw tuna has mercury.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Consumption of undercooked seafood carries the risk of several diseases including hepatitis A. If you have chronic liver disease from hep b, then contracting hep A could be very dangerous. I would therefore recommend that you be vaccinated against hepatitis A to reduce your risk. It is a simple and effective series of 2 shots given 6 months apart.
