No: Very unusual.  1st dental check-up age 1.  You may want to see a children's dentition all development expert, a qualified pedodontics dentist specialist.  Ask your general dentist for a referral.

Accepted Answer

No: Most babies get the 2 bottom center teeth (incisors) first followed by the 2 upper central incisors, and then the 2 upper lateral (side) incisors. However it is not a problem if the lateral incisors are present prior to the central incisors.

a root canal is necessary on a tooth next to one that is holding a bridge of 6 teeth.  both teeth on either side of the  bridge have to be extracted and implants will  be put in.  what do i do first?

For the most part!: A major key to success in a bone grafting procedure is to leave the area undisturbed during the initial phase of healing when the blood supply to the graft is developing.  As the graft becomes more integrated  with  your body, you'll be able to function more in that area. Be sure to follow your doctor's instruction exactly for eating and for hygiene.

Muscle spasm/TMJ: Wisdom teeth extractions can created muscle spasms = pain like you have.  Simple solution is to heat both sides of the face/ear/joint with warm moist heat.  Then slowly open your mouth a far as able.  Keep "repeating" until you can open wide enough for a sandwich easy entry.  Keep doing this for days until you have no more pain.

Unlikely: Sounds like  root canal not yet completed. So symptoms can occur. Once root canal is completed, symptoms will likely go away. Only then can you know if something else is wrong. But most likely nothing is wrong.  Have the root canal completed sooner rather than later and make sure the tooth gets a filling or crown (which ever is needed) so the tooth is whole again.

my first wisdom tooth is starting to grow out, i have swelling and pain on that side of my jaw, how long will it take until i can get it removed?
