i feel like my inner ear is inflamed. i do not feel sick nor have i had a fever. it just feels tender and when i open my mouth i feel some pain in the inner part of the ear. what could it be? is it serious?

TMJ: It sounds like your tmj.  It. Could mean that  the joint has a dislocated disk, a  rough fossa,  or the joint could be arthritic (very unlikely).  Anyway i would tell you that if it bothers you enough go see your dentist or an oral surgeon.

my inner ear has been itchy for about two weeks, and im starting to think its a possible infection. the only weird instance is that if i rub my tongue on the back upper part of my mouth the itching gets some relief, but temporarily. its all day?

: Symptoms probably relate to "ear wax" accumulation, with lowering jaw manipulating to some extent the location of the ear wax, allowing relief of itching.  See an ENT physician for an exam, as "infection" is not likely, but possible.

2weeks post op inner ear surgery. loss of taste & severe dry mouth. otc dry mouth spray isn't helping. what can be used to treat this??

Chorda Tympani nerve: A branch of the facial nerve called the chorda tympani nerve supplies taste to the anterior tongue (on the operated side).  It also provides some innervation to salivary gland responsible for the secretion of saliva.  This nerve runs through the middle ear space behind the ear drum.  It can be stretched or cut during surgery.  The symptoms usually improve however with time.

: I don't think all these varied symptoms are explainable with a single diagnosisbut  severe bilateral ear pain,metallic taste suggests sinus infection. I doubt that dental or temporomandibular joint dysfunction are responsible. Do you have any other symptoms characteristic of sinus infection? I recommend consulting an ENT specialist for evaluation and advice.

Dizziness: Vertigo or a sense of dizziness can develop with some chronic diseases, age, or during and after a viral illness.  Your have had the correct procedures.  You might consider being evaluated by an otorhinolaryngologist (ENT) physician.  Few medications actually help.  
Dramamine, often used for sea sickness is often useful but rest and trying to stare at a fixed object when you feel dizzy helps many.

how to stop pain from inner ear infection?

Otitis media: If acute, antibiotics and pain meds, if unrelieved needs myringotomy to let out pus. 
If chronic, you may need tubes, if mastoid infection is present may need mastoidectomy.
