Depress &amp; Anxiety: and agoraphobia require more than medication.  Please see a mental health professional who can treat you.  Cognitive therapy is one possibility. whats the most my doctor can do for extreme anxiety? its gotten to the point where its almost debilitating and i want to see a doctor but can they do anything besides talk it out with me?

: If you are experiencing "extreme anxiety" which is "almost debilitating", and there appears to be limited help, you do need a second opinion.  Although medications could assist, it is far better to seek future solutions, and have found success with cognitive-behavioural therapy, and biofeedback.  Would contact a psychiatric hospital, or medical school, and obtain appropriate referrals

is it okay to take klonopin (clonazepam) on an as needed basis? my doctor talked like i should take it when i am having anxiety, but the label says 1 at bedtime.

Yes: yes An occasional use of klonopin (clonazepam) is OK it's worse if you take it for a long period of time and then you stopped suddenly so an occasional pill here and there for anxiety is ok
