If you are experiencing "extreme anxiety" which is "almost debilitating", and there appears to be limited help, you do need a second opinion. Although medications could assist, it is far better to seek future solutions, and have found success with cognitive-behavioural therapy, and biofeedback. Would contact a psychiatric hospital, or medical school, and obtain appropriate referrals

Have you ever tried psychotherapy? It sounds like you haven't as you seem to think therapy is about a therapist talking things "out of you". An anti-depressant will help take the edge off your anxiety & control your OCD up to a point. There are no quick fixes. You also need a good therapist who can help you understand why you're so anxious and what exactly you're so anxious about.
