Runny nose: I will answer the runny nose part, that has no relation to the other symptoms. Runny nose after eating is called vasomotor rhinitis and can be treated with an antihistamine or anticholinergic nasal spray. Oral antihistamines do not affect it. Ask your doctor for a prescription instead of walking around with tissues all the time.

i was recently dx small hiatal hernia abd&pelvic ct w contrast. no other findings. i noticed 30 min after i eat, i get all flushed and weird feeling, with gurling tummy. esophageal stricture? or duodenal ulcer? i'm on pepcid and florestore probiotic?

Rather functional: Your symptoms suggest dumping syndrome which is rather functional and studies such as gastric emptying or small bowel series may be needed. May need also to review current meds with your prescriber.

Burning pain, nausea: Gnawing pain, discomfort that persists, nausea, general malaise....Pain may be in mid upper abdomen, but also could radiate toward the sides, and even thru to the back.  If take simple over the counter antacids and it goes away, fine.  But if it persists, and you have to keep taking them daily, not fine.  Get thee to the doc.

No: It should not as long as your are taking medication to heal the ulcer. Avoid too much alcohol, spicy food and medications like aspirin, aleve, (naproxen) Ibuprofen ect.

About the same: Regardless of size or location, if you really have an ulcer (found by x-ray or endoscopy) please seek doctor's advice. Even small ulcers can bleed (sometimes massively), perforate, obstruct stomach emptying. Sometimes, an ulcer can form in a cancer so to avoid this possibility it is important to make sure at least gastric ulcer actually heals. Relief of ulcer symptoms doesn't always mean healing.

Enzyme deficiency: Low pancreatic enzymes in the duodenal juices indicate pancreatic insufficiency. This is manifested by   inability of the body to absorb nutrients causing diarrhea and weight loss. Malabsorption of fat soluble vitamins D, A, E  and K occurs.  I assume alcohol abuse hasn't injured your pancreas. I recommend taking pancreatic supplements if your MD also agrees it's advisable.

See details: The symptoms are quite similar. Epigastric pain, bloating, nausea, abdominal tenderness are possible symptoms. Food may help but consider seeing a GI specialist and starting meds to help heal the ulcer.

Barium x-ray: You may wish to discuss having a barium x-ray of your upper GI tract, if you do not wish to undergo sedation for an upper endoscopy which would be the better test.

Relieved by food: Burning epigastric pain 90 min-3 hours after meals relieved by food is probably the most distinguishing symptom of duodenal ulcer.  Other symptoms, like weight loss, blood in stool can be seen.  Apparently gastric ulcer is made worse by or unrelated to food.

breath test= positive sibo due to double peak hydrogen counts. egd = duodenal lymphocytosis. negative celiac. should i take xifaxin if only symptoms is gas?

It's Worth a Try: There is very little downside in taking xifaxan, (rifaximin) since it is basically a non-absorbable antibiotic.  Duodenal lymphocytosis may be a non-specific finding, and if your only symptom is excessive gas, then trying this relatively safe antibiotic might just work.
