Likely cystitis: Cystitis or UTI can cause bladder pain. Pain can be reieved if Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is successful in killing bacteria causing your bladder infection.

Go back to see: your health care provider and ask for a culture of the urine in order to determine the best antibiotic for your treatment. Cranberry pills will only mask the problem not treat it.

I doubt it: Symtoms are the complaints your body tells the brain when somethin's wrong. You were treated for a bladder infection: successfully as it sounds.  Your problem resolved and your body is saying it's ok. Unless something else is going on, it  is reasonable to call and report that and cancel your follow-up. If your symptoms return, that's a good reason to return.It's ok to use your own jedgment here.

6 weeks: It is always in your best interested to pass a stone on your own, but it is not good for your kidney to struggle to pass the stone for more than about 6 weeks.  With the bladder symptoms it is probably all the way down to the bladder, but sometimes the last part can be the hardest for the stone.  Unfortunately, drinking lots of water does not help to push out the stone.

See Dr: Whilst unusual, it is still possible to have a urinary tract infection with minimal symptoms. The lower back pain could also be referred pain from your lumbar spine, a common symptom of a pinched or irritated nerve.  You need to see your doctor sooner for an examination as well as a Urine dipstick test to rule out an early urinary tract infection which can develop complications if left untreated.

Possible symptoms of bladder cancer include blood in the urine, pain with urination, feeling the need to urinate more often, back pain, abdominal pain, loss of appetite and  losing weight. If you have pain and bloody urine, you should see your doctor so that he or she can determine and treat the cause. Stay well.

NO: Get a repeat urine analysis and culture. Abstain sexually for 1 week. No tight underwear/thongs. No oral sex for 1 week. No tight jeans or swim suits. OK to use OTC Azo for severe burning. 8-10 glasses of water/day.

doc thinks i have lupus due to many symptoms and ana positive. urinalysis was positive for protein and leukocytes at 1+ and negative for nitrites. i have many lupus symptoms but also bladder pain for months. is this result likely lupus or uti related?

three days out from an appendectomy. no decrease in symptoms and i'm again experiencing lrq pain. i have not had a bowel movement or passed gas. bladder pain during urination. i have difficulty sleeping and eating. does this warrant an appt?

S/p appy: Yes. Go to ER could have prolonged ileus, abscess, adhesion, volvulus,. Any pain that interferes with sleep warrants ER visit
