Infected?: You shouldn&#x27;t get folliculitis on the head of your penis. Folliculitis is an infection of hair follicles and there are no hair follicles there. So the sores you had there, and now the swelling that is spreading down the shaft makes me concerned that you might have an infection. Suggest you see your doctor as soon as possible.

First diagnose cause: Then appropriate treament, if necessary can be undertaken. Suggest uc a urologist, or at least your primary care physician. Need to know if it is celluitis from inflammation & infection, or edema (from lymphatic fluid retention or obstruction or a vein thrombosis etc.

Somewhat concerned: Redness and swelling are a sign of inflammation. Inflammation can be caused by a number of things. A few causes of inflammation are mechanical trauma such as friction from sex, staying chronically wet between the head (glans) of your penis and the foreskin, yeast infections, and bacterial infections.

You should follow-up with a doctor if you think you have a infection.

i went for circumcision 3 weeks ago. the left side of the penis is healing well but the right side seems swollen. it's not painful but when i touch it i feel a sensation all the way up to my penis head. should i be concerned?

: You might have the start of adhesions or low grade inflammation. Best to see a Urologist. In the meantime keep area clean use cortisone ointment (OTC)

Concerning: Swelling of the glans penis, especially if redness is present, persisting for 6 days after the procedure suggests trauma or infection( balanitis). I recommend that the urologist who performed the procedure examine you for diagnosis and treatment.

See details: Use your hand, it carries less risk. A mechanical device carries greater risk of causing soft tissue injury.

uncomfortably swollen penis head during erection, once foreskin is retracted, it continues to swell until it goes numb. i've been given some hypocortisole cream and tried it for a week, several times over the last few months but no effect?

: Daily retract your foreskin as far back as possible using baby oil or the cream you have then pull it forward. Do this daily and gradually it will become more pliable and lose. never leave it back to avoid what you are experiencing. The other choice is circumcision. Never leave the foreskin back behind the head. But I think the first will work. Good luck
