More specifics: Do you mean the swollen nodes at the left side  of the neck and  not the whole body?  If so, it may mean that there is a sinus infection or dental abscess. I can't think of a condition which causes nodes to be enlarged involving much of the left side of the body. Perhaps you need a second opinion by seeing another doctor

: Swollen lymph nodes, if caused by medication, are generally on both sides of the body.  See your physician for an exam and other testing, as lymph nodes can represent other forms of disease.

Unlikely: The unilateral involvement suggests that It is more likely from an upper respiratory tract infection or a bacterial infection in areas above the neck at that side  (sinusitis, dental abscess etc). You would  be much sicker if the problem is from HIV.

Lymphadenopathy: It is likely that these are lymphs nodes doing what lymph nodes do, but you should see your Primary Care Provider. Enlarged "sorta" movable lymph nodes should not be ignored.

Sure, see GI doctor: Difficulty swallowing ("dysphagia") can be distinguished as a "transfer" problem (difficulty moving food from mouth to top of esophagus), "transit" problem (difficulty moving food down the esophagus), "spasm", gerd (due to sphincter problems), or obstructive (webs, rings, strictures, ulcer, tumor).  Best to see a gastroenterologist (gi doctor) for evaluation and treatment.

Be seen: I would certainly consider being seen, particularly if it has not improved over a month.  If it is from swollen lymph nodes, these are usually associated with some form of infectious or inflammatory process.  The other possibility is that it is related to some underlying abnormality in the spine itself.  A detailed exam and appropriate studies would determine the likely cause.

Swollen node: enlarged lymph nodes can be due to infection, malignancy, HIV etc..., if nodes continue to be enlarged and there is no apparent reason for it, then a biopsy may be needed to find out why, sometimes the enlarged lymph node may shrink by itself without ever knowing why it was swollen
