More specifics: Do you mean the swollen nodes at the left side of the neck and not the whole body? If so, it may mean that there is a sinus infection or dental abscess. I can't think of a condition which causes nodes to be enlarged involving much of the left side of the body. Perhaps you need a second opinion by seeing another doctor
