hello, i've had enlarged lymph nodes for 5 months doc said it was fine and had chest x ray and bloods were clear the are soft and roll under my thumb i'm also very skinny they haven't changed size or any other way is this normal and okay?

some swollen lymph nodes in my body have been present for a couple weeks. i went to a doctor they did blood work and it was normal. he said not to worry about size unless they grow. so if lymph nodes are under 1 cm should i still be concerned?

Watch and wait: You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of  the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.

9months ago i found lot of swollen lymph nodes is aw doc and got the one on my chest ultrasound i then got a chest x ray and a cbc blood test they said it was clear there's lymph nodes in chest neck groin there soft and roll no weight loss i'm skinny?

i have about 10 swollen lymph nodes i've had them since october 2022 i've not noticed any change doc said it was fine i've had bloods x ray and no weight loss i'm very skinny why are they still up?

: The locations and sizes of those lymph nodes are very important. Lymph nodes can be palpable at certain anatomic sides if you are skinny. At times, reactive lymph nodes do not resolve to their original sizes after an infection. If those lymph nodes are of clinical significance, they have progressed since then. You had been examined and doctor did not concern about them, you should be reassured.

Good for you: You need to stop worrying. Everybody has some palpable lymph nodes if they know where to feel. You're a 28 year old man, and life's too difficult to be fretting about this.

ive had a swollen lymph node on right side of my neck for months and it hasnt gone down. i got it checked by my doctor a month ago w a chest x ray & blood work and he said it was not lymphoma and it will probably go down but it hasnt. why is that?

ENT: You may like to see an ENT specialist, and they can biopsy the lymph node. If the node or mass is not growing, mobile and stable, it is not as likely to be a malignancy, but you should follow up with your PCP and ENT for additional evaluation. Watch for night sweats, fever, weight loss and malaise.

Imaging studies: They might, but interpretation might be difficult depending upon their size. Ct scan would be much more valuable.

Lymphadenopathy: Many possible causes. If a doctor finds them significant then the best means of diagnosis might be biopsy.

Chest X-ray. : A chest X-ray would not be a reliable test in this regard.
