No: If a person has antibodies to HSV1 (has immunity), she should not get new HSV1 infections in places that she did not get HSV1 sores in the past. New herpes lesions on the genitals would be presumed HSV2 (if the HSV2 antibodies turned positive on the blood tests after the new genital herpes sores). Life can surprise you sometimes. Maybe HSV1 was in the genitals in the past but wasn't noticeable.

No: Cysts and swollen glands in the neck rarely cause nerve damage.  The major nerves are the 11th coming from behind the upper sternomastoid to the shoulder, the vagus on the carotid and the recurrent laryngeal entering thyroid cartilage.  Damage is almost from a surgical injury.

Swollen glands: You can take antiinflammatories for the pain and swelling, but get examined to evaluate these swollen glands and any potential source on why they are swollen.

Please see doctor: Swollen  glands are usually swollen lymph nodes. They can be due to infections or a variety of other illnesses . A visit to a md  starting  with a family doctor or internist is the first step. That doctor can examine the lymph nodes to determine if more testing is needed.

Evaluation: It is not entirely clear what is swollen. If you are feeling swollen lymph nodes then this should be evaluated by your Obgyn. Have your doctor do a pelvic exam to make sure all is healing normally

Exam advised: Infection of the ear drum is common in children. For this reason I think your child should be examined by her pediatrician if this symptom persists.

No.: There is no such thing as "general liver detoxing" that would cause any symptoms.  Multiple swollen, tender glands sounds more like an infection.  See your doctor if it persists.

Get checked: Swollen armpit could be milk starting to form  some of breast tissue actually extends into axilla  if feet swelling does not improve with elevation of the feet get checked.

Lymph nodes: Which glands (lymph nodes) are you referring to?  If you have swollen lymph nodes in the neck and a recent upper respiratory infection, that may be normal.  If you have lymph nodes in other areas like the arm pit or groin or the ones in the neck that don't go away, you need to see a doctor for evaluation.
