Family practice: I'm not sure you are feeling/seeing ln's in that area. It could be cysts or infected hair follicles. Get them checked out.

today my eyes have been bloodshot and i have had an unusual amount of eye boogers. my lymph nodes have been swollen for a few days. is this a cold?

Could be.: Sounds like a viral illness.  Should resolve over the next few days. Try to keep your hands away from your eyes and practice meticulous hygiene.

See your doctor: If you have a strange swelling near eye, I would see your doctor or eye doctor.  Cooling clothes can be helpful in the mean time.

Nothing good!!: This could be a bad infection and it is in a very sensitive area that could spread and cause some real trouble so go see a doctor now. i wouldn't wait.

Several: Several things can cause these symptoms. The most common one is ear infection, possibly chronic but this can be serious. Other causes such as tumor are possible and should be excluded. You need to visit an ENT physician and get a scan of your sinuses. Good luck!

i have swollen left eyelid and very painful. no bumps. also left lymph node under chin is very tender and swollen? what could this be?

Could be a sty : It may be an early sty.  It should be one eyelid not both that is swollen. If one the use of warm compresses four times a day for 5-10 minutes for a couple of days should help. If both lids are swollen it may be preseptal infection and you should see a doctor as you may need antibiotics. If the swelling doesn't resolve in a 2 days or you are running a fever see a doctor.

See EyeMD asap: Could have a viral conjunctivits. Painful scalp bumps may be from a herpes virus.

: You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

More specifics: Do you mean the swollen nodes at the left side  of the neck and  not the whole body?  If so, it may mean that there is a sinus infection or dental abscess. I can't think of a condition which causes nodes to be enlarged involving much of the left side of the body. Perhaps you need a second opinion by seeing another doctor

on both sides of my neck when i press down i feel like a pea/ bean thats elastic like and moves.. im freaking out because i think these are my lymph nodes. all my tests were negative so far for hiv. are my nodes swollen? they are painless. this new?
