after the excision of a big mucocele from the bottom side of my tongue 2.5 months ago, my tongue tip looks like swollen (a bump that causes it to point upwards).i believe this causes me issues with pronunciation.is it nerve damage?will it get better?

8 days ago i found out i was allergic to peaches as soon as i took a 2/3rd bite into one, the bottom of my tongue became numb and my lips swell with bumps on it. i drank alcohol last night and about 4-5 hrs of sleeping, my bottom lip is very swollen.

Antihistamines : Try taking oral antihistamines like zyrtec or Allegra. Benadryl will also help but might make you sleepy and only last a few hours. If any breathing difficulty, coughing or the sensation of throat tightening develops please see doctor right away

Infection: Sounds viral but may be bacterial.  If you use tobacco, a palatal biopsy may be in order.  Salt water gargles and topical anesthetic will help.  A throat culture can help differentiate the etiology.  See your physician.

UVULA: First, it can be simply normal for you especially if you have no symptoms.
However, some people get large and swollen ones when either allergic to something or a possible infection or actually also from snoring as the uvula bangs back and forth and gets traumatized.

i was diagnosed with strep and i am taking penicillin. my tongue is now swollen and has white bumps underneath it. why is this happening?

Stop penicillin: I am not sure about the white bumps, but the tongue swelling would make me concerned that your could be having an allergic reaction to the penicillin. It could all be related to whatever infection is going on, but stop the antibiotic and talk with your doctor. They may need to switch you to a different medicine to complete the treatment course for the strep throat.

Swollen taste buds?: Have this examined by your dentist or an oral surgeon. It may be something other than swollen taste buds. It may be an infection. It may require a  biopsy.
