approximatey 3 weeks ago i was stung on the inside of my elbow (in the bend) by what appeared to be a sweat bee.  i immediately applied alcohol to the sting.  it has itched in that area every day since the sting and i apply alcohol each time it itches.  yesterday a cluster of 12-15 small bumps appeared in the area of the sting.  i am looking for advice on how to treat the area as it itches also.  thank you.

See dermatologist: It might be infected. See dermatologist for either tx of the allergic nature of the sting or a secondary infection.

Hydrocortisone cream: Use Hydrocortisone cream 2-3 times a day for a couple of days.  Try to avoid antiperspirant if you can for 1-2 days.  That usually works.

Eczema: This can be from eczema or a skin infection, you need to have a doctor look at it for a proper diagnosis though.

hi, i have this heat rash or sweat rash on my leg, i cannot get it away and have tried everything. originally thought is was from excercise and sweat, but i get it on my arm or legs. forms big red rash  with thick erdge. itches when it gets warm.

Eczema: If the rash is on the folds, it is likely to be eczema and it is not related to teething. Moisturize your child's skin regularly and see an allergist to determine what your child is allergic to.

Eczema : Eczema and psoriasis are common but there are other diseases that could be causing this.

my 7 year old child has almost perfect round rashes on the inside of his elbows. they are silver dollar sized. eczema?

Could be: It could be eczema, or a contact dermatitis, or insect bites, or a fungus infection ("ringworm").  A dermatologist will know.

i have these circle like paches-rashes that apear near my right elbow from time to time. doc wrote it of as "stress" without any tests. problem?

Possibly: You might have ringworm; it's impossible to diagnose a skin disorder without seeing it.  Consider seeing a dermatologist, or another primary care doc.  Try to be as specific as possible about when/where the rashes start.  Take pictures if they'll disappear before your doctor sees them!  "google" them by describing them just like you did, and hit "images".  Bring the info to your doc and ask.
