You will not: Swallowing the tongue is a fallacy.  If you are sleeping on your back the tongue can move posteriorly, but you will not "swallow" it. Sleeping on your side can help, as well as some oral appliances depending on your diagnosis and oral conditions.

tongue swelling: Tongue swelling is a common feature in an allergic reaction. The release of histamine by allergy mediating cells known as mast cells can cause tongue and face swelling. Other causes include infection, trauma like biting your tongue, growth in the tongue, certain medications, autoimmune disease and a foreign body lodged in the tongue as well as acid reflux from the stomach.

Will pass: If there are no sharp edges in the ring, it will pass. If you get persistent pain in the stomach, or bleeding in your stool, see your doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

First calm down: likely you will just poop the piercing out. But if any part of the pierce is sharp you may need to get an xray to make sure you are passing it. If there is any pain go to ER immediately

Wait and check: Eat a lot of roughage and make sure you monitor your stools to ensure that it passes out without any problem.  If you have any unusual symptoms speak to your physician for an examination and follow-up. Consider never using any intraoral jewelry again for a host of other reasons as well.

Seizure: Very unlikely. This is an old myth that let people to use spoons and objects in an attempt to prevent epileptics from swallowing their tongues during a seizure. It is recommended not to insert anything inside the mouth of a person having a seizure as these objects can cause a serious choking hazard. That sensations you described do not suggest that you are having a seizure.

hello i have sinusitis and its hurts like mad so when it gets proper bad i panic and it causes me to think im going to swallow my tongue. is anxiety?

Possible: Severe pain can cause your body to do some strange things. If you have not taken any antibiotics to help clear it up then see a doc for verification of the diagnosis and get the meds. It is physically impossible to swallow your tongue, but it can relax or swell enough to obstruct your throat. A swollen tongue can occur from allergy to meds as well. Talk to a doctor about this, soon.

Please see doc: Sometimes rib/back muscle strains can cause pain like you describe, but... The nausea and the feeling of swallowing your tongue is concerning - that usually doesn't happen with simple muscle strains.  Could this be referred pain from an ulcer, from the diaphragm, from the heart?  Your symptoms are concerning enough that you deserve a thorough medical workup.  Time to go to an urgent care or ed.
