i am having laser tattoo removal on the back of my neck. i had my first session two weeks ago , its healing very well however i noticed a round hard painful lump at the base of my skull back of neck. swollen lymph node??

: You are likely correct. Any disturbance of the skin surface as would be in tattoo removal may trigger enlargement of local nodes that can persist for a few weeks.

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. They enlarge in response to inflammation created when they react.  They shrink when all is well. They are in chains besides the arteries/veins running along both sides of back of your neck.

rubbery small, not movable swollen lymph on the back right side of my neck , is it something serious?

Probably not.: If you feel well, the lymph nodes are 1 cm or less in diameter and are not growing or tender, are rubbery, not rock hard, they are most likely benign.  If any of the above is not true, you need to see a physician to have them checked out.

Lymph nodes: Yes there are lymph nodes in the back of neck and head.These are normally not palpable unless there is an infection in the scalp or part of neck
lymph glands are like filters and are spread all over the body and if parts of body get infected the infection can spread in the nodes.So same thing can happen in the nodes in back of head and neck.

Usually they are in-: -the front of the neck, not behind. If there's lumps in &amp; around Ur C-spine they R not lymph nodes.

i have 2 large lumps in the lymph-node on the back/right side of my neck.  (been there for a while) should i be worried?

See a doctor: Generally, if enlarged lymph nodes (if that is what they are), which have been present and unchanged for some time, are harmless.  On the other hand it would be very comforting to be seen by a doctor who can examine these and tell you whether they need to be biopsied.  Suspect all will come out fine.

is a cluster of mobile lymph nodes on back of 2 yo neck normal.  all different sizes. they seem like they are all together but i can feel each one?

Yes: There are thousands of lymph node located around the body.Many in the neck, head,  behind the ear are prominent in kids as they are not buried in tissue . At rest these are often 1/4 inch in diameter and may grow to marble sized when reacting to a stimulus. Bug bites, or viral infections can increase their size to 1 cm or more.Most will  shrink  down to pre-stimulated size over 3-4 wks.

i have covid, symptoms similar to first time i got it, but this time i have two painful lymph nodes at the side slighty back off my neck is that normal? thanks. overrall im ok mostly annoying symptoms?

: Covid infection can definitely lead to lymph swelling especially in the neck.
