Does lymph nodes go to the back of you neck or head?

Lymph nodes: Yes there are lymph nodes in the back of neck and head.These are normally not palpable unless there is an infection in the scalp or part of neck lymph glands are like filters and are spread all over the body and if parts of body get infected the infection can spread in the nodes.So same thing can happen in the nodes in back of head and neck.
