If yes, then trying to maintain the safest practices for your job should be your goal.  Firefighting is dangerous, but has developed many safe advances over the years.  If you don't like your job, then you shouldn't risk it.

Whenever they cannot take care of themselves. Usually rn come to the house to check on patients. Your doctor should be able to tell how good.

It's quite possible that despite everything he is doing right, his low HDL is due to a genetic trait. He should continue to do what he is doing, and also discuss the levels with his doctor to see if it's something that should be addressed with meds.
