Maybe: It sounds like your background may be suitable to work in a medical laboratory if your city is large enough to have one. You may also qualify to assist a medical examiner if there are openings there. It can't hurt to apply but actual public health usually involves a clinical or sanitary engineering background.

Not likely get MPH: To get a job, it requires Bachelor’s Degree in public health, health administration, statistics, mathematics, or epidemiology, or a relevant combination of work and educational experience. Get MPH degree to open the doors.
