YES: The eustachian tube connects the inner ear to the oropharynx (back of the throat).  Its putpose is to equalize pressure on the ear drum.  It is above the tonsil but can be affected by swelling with tonsil surgery.  It should settle down within a few days if this is your problem.  Your surgeon should be able to confirm your problem during a follow up visit.

i am 45 and never had cysts discovered until one ruptured last month. now i have two that surgeon wants to remove, 4 and 6cm. is my situation rare?

No ovarian cysts are: quite tricky, sometimes growing to the size of small grapefruits before you have symptoms.  They are quite hidden by your other organs in the abdominal cavity.  Please keep a close relationship with your doctors and make sure that removing these cysts is the only option.  Make sure that you know when is the best time to do the surgery as well. Yes it should be as simple as removing a cyst or lesion...When you consult with the surgeon be sure to ask him/her these questions. The person doing the procedure will give you the best information.

Often unnecessary.: most maxillary sinus cysts are benign and are only found on routine xray examination.  They are usually mucous in origin and rarely is the removal recommended.  If recommended the procedure involves an incision in the muccobuccal fold area and an entry into the sinus is made with a drill.  The cyst is curetted-incision is closed.
Minor if any discomfort.  An office procedure.

Will have some pain: could be done but you have to check with your surgeon before removing it , also have to go back for follow up wound  care

i had surgery to removed a cyst a few weeks ago. i had minor bleeding after the surgeon removed staples from my chest today. should i be worried?

not really: I suspect you either bled a bit from the staple line itself, or had a small hematoma evacuation. Keep it covered, just to protect your clothes, until there's no more drainage . If it persists, notify the surgeon, but i'm confident it will be self limited. Good luck.

i have a lump on my forehead which i thought was a cyst, but on further inspection from a surgeon, he suggested that it is a possible forehead osteoma. i would like to get it removed. where do i go from here?

Plastic surg, ortho: make certain that it really is an osteoma. xray would prob confirm. when certain, then consult ortho or plastic surgeon.
