Fertility treatment: One can still get pregnant with a blocked tube as long as the other tube is open. You can confirm that the right tube is open with your fertility doctor. Then follow the instructions for follow up after your BHCG injection. Likely you are scheduled for a pregnancy test 2 weeks after.

Duphaston: This product is indicated in women trying to conceive if there is proven documented deficiency of the progesterone hormone during Luteal Phase 
Once conception has take place, progesterone hormone is indicated only in pregnancies due to assisted reproductive techniques such as IN Vivo Fertilization or in cases of repeated miscarries in the early 1 st trimester of pregnancy.

Ovulation induction: With what you're taking, you cannot rely on your symptoms to rell if you're pregnant. You need to follow up with your doctor and, if your period does not begin, do a pregnancy test 2 weeks following IUI.

No menses: If you do not have bleeding after Progesterone withdrawal, there can be several causes. 1) pregnant and too early to check urine 2) the lining of the endometrium is too thin to get a bleed (called a silent period by some) 3) something blocking the cervix (doubtful because last month regular period). See your doctor.

i have pcod & ttc with irregular cycle. lmp- 11th mar.had duphaston for 10 days from 30 mar - 8 apr. been 8 days and hv not got periods still. tested on 5 apr & hcg negative. got cramps 6 days back. do i need to wait for periods or can u advice?

: "PCOD" (polycystic ovarian disease)  causes irregular to absent ovulation.  Duphaston may cause withdrawal bleeding, but does usually not increase fertility.  Ovulation induction can be successful, so get a referral to a fertility physician who can monitor and add additional testing.  Cramps may indicate onset of withdrawal bleeding from Duphaston, but not pregnancy.

had my first period after med abortion.i still have hcg/17.56/in my blood.scan shows some endometrial thickness-3mm.doc prescribed me duphaston to take from day 15 to 25.today is day 15 but i have menstrual pains again.how will this help me?so scared

Positive HCG ?: A positive HCG after a "medical abortion" may indicate persistent pregnancy, and/or a pregnancy occurring after your "medical abortion", with the bleeding representing a possible pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic). Duphaston may not treat this successfully. Get a repeat HCG in a week to see if it is elevated, and further treatment is indicated.
