St Johns &amp; 5htp: Avoid using both St Johns Wort and 5htp. Usually taking prescription SSRIs in combo and some other psychotropic medications can cause that so following close care by doctor is needed. Try to find a naturopath. The other items you mention do not relate to serotonin - so this is not a risk.

These symptoms tend to remit outside of this time frame. These changes can effect a person's ability to function and also often, their relationships. Anyone who believes she may have this condition should consult a health care professional for diagnosis.

Treatment no cure.: There is treatment for pmdd (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). The recognized treatment at this time is with antidepressants that boost serotonin in the system. This would include Prozac or generic fluoxetine. Also, may take Prozac just for one to two weeks to help. Would consult a psychiatrist. As there ar other things that can also help along with the antidepressant such as an anti anxiety pill.

Uncertain: Despite my review of studies, i can not seem to locate any information about the ocp gildess and use for menstrual related mood disorders like premenstrual dysphoric disorder.  Premenstrual dysphoric disorder can be treated with fluoxetine (sarafem).
