Lip swelling: Lip swelling can result from a number of things. Recent sun exposure could cause lip swelling. Allergic reactions to food, lip stick, a hiost of other things could. If the lip swelling is associated with tongue swelling call 911. Watch your salt as that can cause lip and facial swelling. Insect bites can cause this-look for a bite mark. Localized swelling could be a small salivary gland blocked.

should i go to the emergency room for increasingly swollen lips from a sunburn on sunday? i've been drinking lots of water, iced, used cucumbers, and took about 3 doses of benadryl yesterday. they have become increasingly more swollen since yesterday morn

This : This should be evaluated, try your physicians office to see if they will take you in today as an emergency, if not try an urgent care facility and as a last resort see an emergency department.  You need to be evaluated since this is increasing in size and it may not be related to the sun.

Sunburn: Hello, 
it would be ideal to see a picture of your brothers scalp.
It is likely a superficial (1st degree) burn if no blisters or other skin changes are present. 
I would advice for him to stay hydrated, he can apply some aloe vera gel for healing.
Always wear sunblock.

Yes: are his feet sunburnt?
make sure you take an icecube and apply it to the sun burnt area .if it is bad or blistered it needs to have a dressing.
make sure you replace his electrolytes with some think like pedialyte
calamine lotion should help with the soothing
next time use a screen with a high SPF

Yes ....: I am wondering about fever blisters and canker sores. Canker sores occur only inside the mouth: tongue, cheek lining, lips. They are not contagious. Fever blisters, also called cold sores, usually occur outside the mouth and are caused by the herpes simplex virus.Sun burn blisters on lips can occur, obviously preceded by unprotected sun exposure. Irritant: I have seen a few patients who have similar symptoms after using whitening toothpaste.  If you do use it, consider stopping its use.  Consider stopping using lipstick for a couple of weeks if whitening toothpaste does not apply in your case.  Other potential causes? Mouthwash and any other chemical product used in the mouth,

Moisture: Preventing a sunburn is a lot easier than curing one.  Sunscreen or shade can prevent them.  To cure or reduce it, add lots of moisture and clean gently with mild cleansers.  Vaseline or aquaphor can be soothing to these areas.  If it blisters, you may want to see your doctor.

YOU PUT A FIRE OUT WITH WATER.
SOAK YOUR LIPS IN WARM WARM WATER TWO OR THREE HOURS FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES EACH TIME.
GET A HANKIE AND SOAK IT IN WATER AND APPLY IT TO YOUR LIPS, DONT PUT ANY CREAMS OR OINTMENTS ON YOUR LIPS (EXCEPT ZINC OXIDE).
AT BEDTIME, AFTER THE SOAKS, PUT ON SOME ZINC OXIDE.

Maybe: Swollen ankles can  be from your sunburn but can also be from early cellulitis. If it continues after a few days or you start running a fever, see a doctor.
