is it okay to sue for medical malpractice?

Ask an attorney!: You will need to speak with a lawyer who "specializes" in medical malpractice. Just rember, to have a compensible action, there must be negligent action (not considered "the standard of care" in the field, and there must be actual damages. If either one is missing, there is no suit. Just remember...once you sue a doctor don't expect him/her to be amenable to you remaining a patient.

had operation, now cyst on stitch area, should i sue?

Not likely to win: Skin cysts can occur randomly at the site of any surgery and are not usually a sign that the surgeon did something wrong to cause the cyst. Unless the patient has suffered an injury caused by something the surgeon did wrong or failed to do right, a law suit is just a waste of everyone's time. Check with a lawyer, if you want, but get the cyst attended to if it is giving you trouble.

endometrioses, doctor now saying i'm missing part of the ovary. should i sue?

Accepted Answer

No: Not clear on your situation but If you had endometriosis involving your ovary, this causes a blood filled cyst that can become quite large and eventually may need to be surgically removed.  The cyst grows from the ovary, so often it is just not  possible to remove the cyst without removing a part of the ovary which it is attached to. If that is what happened, that is expected and not worrisome.

if a chiropractor does nerve damage, can you sue?

Accepted Answer

Not likely: You have to realize that you chose to go to him and you consented to having manipulation.  You must have had some problem for which you wanted his help.  It would be very difficult to prove the his manipulation caused a specific problem.  You may have pathology of your nerves, and damage would have occurred whether he did something or not..  Some manipulations are dangerous and some quite useful.

i had a dental treatment done over a year ago. will i still be able to sue my dentist?

Maybe: This is covered by the statute of limitations in the state you live. Each state will have different time periods to bring such a suit. However, unless the dentist won't talk to you, i recommend you go back to the dentist to discuss the matter. You may be able to reach a satisfactory compromise and not have to go through the agony of a trial.

having brown spotting on and off ever since my period sue. it's been over 15 days now. scan results show i am not pregnant did 8 days back. why?

Depends: Unfortunately you may have a pregnancy that is now miscarrying -hence the spotting. If it continues please see your dr to get checked for incomplete miscarriage.

i was in a tramatic mototcycle accident and rushed to the hospital to have surgery on my elbow. also my l1-l5 was fractured along with my sternum. head trauma, whiplash, roadrash, ect. they released me and i couldnt even walk. can i sue?

the surgeon that removed my wisdom teeth completed it in 15 minutes, did an xray after because he was nervous he injured me, said everything was fine, and sent me home. turns out, he cracked my jaw all the way through. could i sue for malpractice?

They will not file when they can't win at lease enough to cover their costs.

my hair is and has been falling out in clumps for a year now. its gotten so much worse in the last 6 months. ive been taking biotin and a multivitamin almost daily. is there anything else i can do to fix this issue?

Troubling problem: Definitely see a dermatologist.  Consider underlying disorder such as thyroid.  Hair implant specialists are available in larger communities.  If appropriate, stress management is an option.
